The Equine Directory, established in 2025, is the result of a lifelong love for horses shared by its founders.
With deep roots in the equestrian world, both as a hobby and a profession, we saw a consistent challenge that many riders, yard owners, and small businesses faced: finding reliable, up-to-date equine services all in one place.
Why we started
As former competitive riders and certified livery yard owners, we personally experienced how difficult it can be to source trusted professionals; whether you need a farrier, vet, saddle fitter, or trainer. While running a busy yard, we also saw the flip side: talented, hardworking equine businesses were struggling to reach the right audience.
We knew there had to be a better way.
So we envisioned a simple, easy-to-use online hub that connects the entire horse community-where everyone from equine enthusiasts to professional stables could find, share, and support equine services, events, and resources all in one place.
